I don't know what I am missing

I don't know where is the error please, help

morse.py 
class Letter:
    def __init__(self, pattern=None):
        self.pattern = pattern

    def __str__(self):
        for i in self.pattern:
            morse = []
            if i == '.' :
                morse.append('dot')
            else:
                morse.append('dash')
        return '-'.join(morse)        

class S(Letter):
    def __init__(self):
        pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
        super().__init__(pattern)

You will want to initialize morse before your loop. If you do it inside the loop morse resets every iteration.
