Android Build a Simple Android App with Java Creating the Screen Layout Setting Padding

i don't know what i doing wrong on Lets add some padding Challenge

i have been adding this

android:padding="16dp"

But it is keeping on saying Bummer

Please help

Just move your declaration before the closing tag ! Outside of the tag the xml proprety is not bound to any element ! Hope that helps !
