i dont know what is the problem

    return mColor;
  }

  public void drive() {
    drive(1);
  }

  public void drive(int laps) {

    mBarsCount -= laps;
    if(mBarsCount<0){
      throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery");  
    }

  }

  public void charge() {
    while (!isFullyCharged()) {
      mBarsCount++;
    }
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;

You are very close! Good job. But you need to change a few things. First you do not want to modify the mBarsCount if the amount of laps passed in would throw the exception. So do the check first. Second.. you do not want mBarsCount to be negative, so change your check like below:

public void drive(int laps) {
    // Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
    if(laps > mBarsCount) {
          throw new IllegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains");
    }
    mBarsCount -= laps;
  }
