i don't know what is wrong

i did the task the same way as in previos video

It wasn't asking you to log anything to the console. It was asking you to create an upper case userName using the id, a # symbol, and lastName by string concatenation.

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();
