I don't know what is wrong with my code when I am trying to select the paragraph element to be black.

I have tried many different variations and I just want to move on with with the track

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

p {
  color: #111;
}

You have your paragraph tag set to a color of #111 which is not black. You will want something like:

p { color: #000; }
