I dont know whats wrong here

    start=5
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.

start should be defined outside of any function. Currently it is only defined inside the even-odd function

I corrected it but when I put start inside the even-odd function, the challenge said it was correct , then I put it outside of the function and that was correct too. Thanks anyway
