I don't know where to place the main tag ..I just don't understand

can someone help me out please..i don't get it

The instructions say to put it around "the h2 and articles", which it appears you have done correctly. :+1:

But somehow in the process, an extra <aside> got wrapped around the header., the start tag for the real <aside> seems to have been removed, and there's a stray incomplete tag "</article." right before the footer.

Fix these issues and you should pass the challenge.

Thank you ...I had no success on finding the problem because I wasn't focused on the overall code...lesson learned ...thanks a million
