I don't think I forgot the `self` argument in my `praise` method

Really? No matter what I put after format I get that error. Where else can I put it?

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = "Leslie"

    def praise(self):
        print("You're surviving, {}.".format(self))
        return

I suspect you are trying to do something like this?

class Student:
    name = "Leslie"

    def praise(self):
        print("You're surviving, {}.".format(self.name))
        return

aStudent  = Student()
aStudent.name = 'Mark'
aStudent.praise()

self is a reference to the instance of the class, Try adding a print(aStudent) at the end of the example. It would say something like ...... <main.Student object at 0x0000020D4A588610>

Yes - thank you!
