iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Pointers and Memory Array Size and Length

I don't think I understand the question.

The code challenge asks me to pass a string as a parameter which I don't understand as I'm calculating the size of the real_numbers array using the method 'sizeof'. Can anyone explain what I'm not getting?

Code:

float real_numbers[5];
printf("Array real_numbers is %ld bytes.\n", sizeof(real_numbers);

float real_numbers[5];

printf("Array real_numbers is %ld bytes", sizeof(real_numbers));

it wants you to pass a string literal to the print f function, which is the "array real numbers is %ld bytes" part. However I ommitted the period and the newline and passed the challenge just fine. You also forgot to close your printf function call's parenthesis.

Thank you sir!
