CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Styling the Intro Paragraph

I don't understand how my answer is incorrect how do I target the span element inside the .intro.

I do not understand how my code is incorrect...

Hi Lainey,

In task 4 you need to create a new rule.

font-size and line-height should be applied to the .intro paragraph and font weight and style should be applied to the span within that intro paragraph.

Separating out what you have into 2 rules:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

Also, you should not assign the span tag the intro class. The challenge only requests that you add it to the paragraph.
