I don't understand task 4 of 4

I'm not sure where to nest the .footer class or how to use the ampersand. I thought something like:

a { color: red; & .footer { color: purple; } }

would work, but it doesn't!

Try

p { a { color: red; div.footer & { color: purple;} }

a { color: blue; &:hover { opacity: 0.5;} } }

Yes that got it. I put the ampersand the wrong side and didn't realize I had to target the div first.
