I dont understand the error

What should I do, i've formatted the date according to the document

echo "Today is ". $today;
//Place your code below this comment
$today = date("F-d-Y");

A couple of things here. First, the challenge isn't expecting you to set and utilize variables. Instead, we just need to echo the properly formatted date after the code comment.

Also, double check your date formatting versus what is being requested by the challenge instructions. Right now your F-d-Y format would produce February-08-2018, for example.
