I don't understand the main error.

I couldn't find the error here.

Idil, I've indicated the error in each line in the comments

String firstName = "Gordon";  //needs an r, String not Sting

String lastName = "Sumner"; //needs a capital S

console.printf("Hello %s", firstName); //needs a final ;

String band = console.readLine("Which band?  "); //needs type declaration: String
