The value of the variable answer is unknown to you, and will be determined by the user's input. It will be stored in the answer variable using the prompt function, which takes a message as an argument. You're having the user determine the value of the variable by inputting a String

. Then for the third challenge, write the answer to the document. You should end up with this javascript:

var answer = prompt("What day is it?");
document.write(answer);

Thank you. I had simply misspelled prompt.
