Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

I don't understand what "Be sure to use 'split()' to break apart 'available' means"

Please help I have watched to video 10 times and still can't pass this

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
"banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split()
sundaes = ['banana split', 'hot fudge', 'cherry', 'malted', 'black and white']

What you want to do is place those sundaes in the string into an array. The split() method can take a character that will be used to split the Strings and place them into an array element.. In this case, the delimiter is the ";"; You might want to do available.split(";").

so the code should be sundaes = available.split(";")

I think that should work. Hope this helps.

Thank you!!!! I passed it!!!
