The correct answer would be:

<?php
$flavor = 'vanilla';
echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if($flavor == 'cookie dough'){
    echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}
?>

A shorter version would be:

<?php
$flavor = 'vanilla';
echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is $flavor.</p>";
if($flavor == 'cookie dough') echo "<p>Hal's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
?>

You're almost there, since your favorite flavor might not be "cookie dough" you need to put the last echo statement in an if statement.

if(flavor variable is equal to "cookie dough"){
   final echo statement goes here
}
<?php
$flavor = 'vanilla';

echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>Naison,s favorite $flavor is cookie dough, also!<p>";
if($flavor == 'cookie dough'){

echo "<p>Hal's favorite $flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}

?>
