CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Selectors ID and Class Selectors

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong on this question: "In the HTML file, give the h1 element the class main-heading"

I originally had the class="main-heading" inside the <h1></h1> after Lake Tahoe in the HTML doc, but it keeps telling me that I need to put it inside the h1 element. I'm confused since I don't see any other h1 on the page.
