I don't understand what is illegal in the program written.it is continuously showing the first line is illegal

it is showing the error for first line in the program,I am not able to understand what are the mistakes i have made?give some detailed suggestion.

Name.java 
import  java.io.Console;
class Name{
  public static void main(String args[])
  {
    Console console=System.console();
    String firstName="xcvbn";
    console.printf("%s",firstName);
  }
}

The challenge is looking for something like this

String firstName ="Mark";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);

I have written the same in the above. but the problem is at the import .java.io.Console.I dont understand why it is not executing in the code challenge
