I don't understand what is wrong with my code.

The goal of this task is it, to return a positive message about the student. But it always returns "Didn't find the name in the praise message. Be sure to use the instance attribute!".

first_class.py 
class Student:
    name = "Ben"
    def praise(self):
        return "You're doing a great job, {}!".format(self)

You are very close. What you need to do is pass self.name as the argument to the .format method, not self. self refers to the current instance of the Student object, while self.name refers to its name property, which contains the name that they are looking for in the message.
