i don't understand whats wrong with the h1 coloring

it asks to set the h1 tag to green, i wrote

<style> <h1> { color: green; } and it doesn't work.

Hi Joseph,

When you are styling you do not need to add "<>" before and after h1. The syntax for CSS should look like this 

h1{
 color: green;
}
