the code doesnt seem to be working after making all the changes

Treehouse Moderator 37,353 PointsCouple things. First self.laps=0 needs to be inside the init.
Also in the run_lap method you don't want to return the fuel_remaining just decrement it (just remove the return). Don't forget to add self. in front of fuel_remaining.
I can post the code if your still stuck but try again with these changes first.
