I found a somewhat disturbing problem in the Treehouse modal input windows

I use a Treehouse modal input window to write this very question right here, and yet if I'll click ESC even by mistake or as a way to try to close a secondary modal (like when tagging), **this whole original modal with all the question text in it, will be closed before I published it, without any warning like "Are you sure you want to close this window while writing text in it?".

This is very disturbing and actually, about 4 times in my 2 years in Treehouse I lost input this way and had to write everything anew.

I ask the Treehouse team to make sure such a defense mechanism of "Are you sure you want to close this window" will be added to prevent data loss when ESC and clicked from whatever reason.

Hi Ben Aharoni

Sorry for the frustration! We've filed a bug on this issue and our engineering team is looking into it. Thanks!

Hi dear Dave! Sadly almost a month passed and I just did a test and the dev team yet to fixed it... Of course, this time I did copy-paste to avoid data loss but I really think they should add such condition already, or at least a timeout draft.
