I get an error stating..

I get a window that says...

Error - Unable to write to and update "C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts".

When I try to install DesktopServer?

My best guess would be that the application doesn't have permission.. When starting the installer, right click the file and press run as administrator.

If that doesn't work, check to make sure any anti-virus programs are disabled. They could be locking the host files.

If both of those don't work, navigate to the host file, right click and select properties, and untick "read only".

If that still doesn't work, try mixing and matching the solutions. Best of luck!
