I got the question right but still a little hazy on how I did it

So for this question I was asked to use the split method to take out spaces In a string called mBody. At first I did

public String[] getWords() { return mBody.split(" "); } but I kept getting the question wrong so then I did

public String[] getWords() { return mBody.split(". "); }

and got the question right, so i guess the string that I needed to take out of body was a period? But im not sure since I wasnt able to see the input and result of my code.
