I have a error is ./Tweet.java:13: error: cannot find symbol int charsLeft = MAX_CHAR - mText.length(); ^ symbol: variable MAX_CHAR location: class Tweet 1 error

Hi, Niyamat Almass

  • In your charactersLeft function, you should use MAX_CHARACTER constant you've previously defined, because there's no symbol named MAX_CHAR
  • you don't need a local variable within the function, you can directly return the result of the subtraction.
  public int charactersLeft() {
    return MAX_CHARACTER - mText.length();
  }
