I have a mac. What text editor can I use with these tutorials?

I am having trouble finding a text editor that will work with these videos. For example, when learning about anchors, the text editors that I was using gave me trouble with creating folders for the html files so they would work.

I use Brackets. It's free and open source. It has the same functions as some of the high end text editors like sublime. You can download Lorem Ipsum plug ins image place holder plug ins, etc. it's pretty nifty.

Brackets is indeed a good text editor for Mac.

@Wayne Tucker if you go with Sublime, I would recommend these packages:

Modific – for highlighting git changes in the side panel. Origami – for working with split panes quickly. VIM Navigation – for basic vim style editing Material Theme – recent theme that is beautiful and easy to digest [https://github.com/equinusocio/material-theme]

I'd suggest you try out Sublime Text. It's a pretty nice one and runs on Mac OS X 10.7 or later. Happy coding!

I was just looking at that. I was looking for a free one, but it seems like I have to pay something. I am getting frustrated with this new format for the videos. I did the Web Design track, but since they changed the videos into individual courses, you can no longer launch the text editor within Treehouse. I guess that I have to keep grinding until I get it.
