I have a problem with the workplace, typing is in some sort of insert mode and its not fixed by pressing insert key

I cant fixed it either by closing workplace or rebooting computer, or maybe its just in irb?

Working in Chrome on Mac OS X I experience the same issue as if the "insert" key were selected. However, if I continue typing and press RETURN IRB and Workplace receives the text I expected it to. So it seems to be a visual issue only.
