CSS

I have been practicing with Foundation 5, and have a couple questions about Foundation (Codepen included).

Codepen: http://codepen.io/mike316/pen/JdooPx I just started with Foundation 5, and I have found it to a great tool. The only problem is I feel like I'm cheating. It's so easy to make a site from scratch, or even use one of there templates, which is what I did for my site.

I know I can add my own custom CSS to style the page. I also plan on learning all the various things I can do with Foundation 5 by looking at the documentation, and reading tutorials.

Do any of you who have used Foundation 5 feel as thought you're cheating? My last question is what do you tell a customer who wants the latest features and styles with Foundation 5, but they want the site to be available for IE 7 and IE 8? Thank you for taking the time to read my questions and helping me with this.

Your codepen looks great! I'm sorry I can't answer your second question but the first one I can. I don't think I'm cheating as the framework was made for fast development for example if you go to a hackaton and have only 24 hours to develop a prototype it's the best choice to use Bootstrap or Foundation, it's also a good choice when you are playing around with the backend and want to discard any error that could come from the Frontend. Also, as a Backend developer I don't want to spend too much time developing the design of a website and give more time to the logic of it. If there should be more design than the Frameworks provides then it should be the job of a Designer or a Frontend Developer (depending on the request).

Thank you for the comment, and advice. I really appreciate it.
