i have no clue....

i rewatched the video and rewrote the stuff like 3 times but i still have no clue what to do....

var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + lastName ;

Just like you used .toUpperCase with id, you need to use it with lastname. AND you need to ad "#" in between. The # is no special, just as any string.

like this: var myMessage = variable1 + "text" + variable
