I have no idea what I'm doing in Java

I've gotten to the point where I'm just rewriting everything from the Workspace into the challenge, just replacing the words to match the challenge.

I have no idea what the challenges are even asking of me. I look at my code and don't have a clue what half of these things are or why I need them. I watch the video two or three times when I don't understand it, and it still isn't making sense.

I just don't want to go thorough the whole class and then realize I don't actually know anything.

What should I do?

Hey Johnny, i am an absolute programming beginner and i often feel the same way like you do. But i love this feeling, when i get another 12 Points or i get the congratulation if i solve the challenge. Java is sooo huge ... but i am sure we will be good in it. Sorry for bad english :)
