I have no idea why this is not passing

I tested my code in the python command line and it works fine. I do not know why on the challenge it is not passing.

item.py
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"
import random

def random_item("Treehouse"):
    pos = random.randint(0, len("Treehouse")-1)
    return "Treehouse"[pos]

you are close. in your function treehouse is your parameter. "treehouse" is a string. you just need to remove the quotes around each treehouse and it will pass. parameters hold the string arguments that are given to the function when called, so they don't need to be in quotes. they are the internal variables that your function modifies. they really only need descriptive names to make your code more readable.
