script.js
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( money < 9 && today || 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");

The last 'else if' looks like this in the beginning of the challenge:

 else if ( today !== 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
}

The only edit that needs to be made to it, is to check if today is Friday. Since at this point in the if statement, it'll know that we don't have much money.

Let me know if this helps here

Hi there, Anfernee Grant ! I have just a slight correction to the other answer listed here. The variable today should be equal to "Friday" as opposed to not equal. Note the line that will be printed: "It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out". Obviously, we only want this to be printed when today is Friday :smiley:

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

The code in my answer is part of the starter/default code, not the code that should be written.
