PHP Build a Simple PHP Application Creating the Menu and Footer Including the Header

I have to use a different contact link than the one in the video. Why is this?

I had to use a different link than contact.php to make it work. I had to add ../contact.php. What did I do wrong?

My code pasted here does not seem to display the php include code. Any idea how to make it show so you can see the code?
