iOS Build a Self-Destructing Message iPhone App Using Parse.com as a Backend and Adding Users Signing Up New Users: Part 1 (UIAlertView)

I have tried NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text it doesnt work idk why

I have tried NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text it does not work and then i also added all the methods from the previous video and that did not work either. Why does this not work??

You are double typing your "userNumber" variable.

Change

NSString *userNumber = self.numberField.text;

to

userNumber = self.numberField.text;
