Android Build a Simple Android App Basic Android Programming Accessing Views in Code: Declaring Variables

I hit alt + enter on the red "TextView" but it just took me to a menu that showed "create class", "create enum" etc.

Should I learn java first or, should I continue this lesson?

First press SHIFT+F12 , If not work then go-to windows-> restore default. This is used to reassure the default settings of Android studio.

First complete learning Java then go for Android development.
