I keep getting this error and can't make it work.

Following error occured when attempting to send test email:

SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. 

Debug log:
CLIENT -> SERVER: EHLO localhost
CLIENT -> SERVER: STARTTLS
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT
SMTP ERROR: QUIT command failed:SMTP Error: ,�(� ���+�USJ��T�tF\��)  ��}ȥŧ�ѥJ�
��C�p�3P2���A��^�d�Q_bW7�
Could not connect to SMTP host.

I tried turning on the option for less secure Apps on my gmail account, but it didn't work either. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
