Heya Frank! Looks like you have lost your main activity xml file

on your left hand side there will be main app folder navigate this way

app-res-layout-mainactivity-xml there you are

Thanks all, it was just hiding behind the far right "Commander-MavenProjects-Gradle-Preview" bar of my Android Studio. Clicking "Preview" will hide/show the screen preview window.
