I made a startpage. Any suggestions?

I made this startpage for my bookmarks because I use multiple browsers and computers all the time. I've built it from scratch in one sitting based on my knowledge from Treehouse. It's a php site that communicates with a database to get urls and titles, and calculates the bottom border colors from the url's favicon. It's also optimized for mobile and desktop with breakpoints and flexbox. A couple of months ago I wouldn't have dreamed that I could make this so quickly. Any suggestion to make it cooler?

Looks pretty neat and I especially like the mobile version of it.

But I am not a fan of side scrolling on the larger version of the page, maybe you want to place those boxes in a column as well? Also, what would be nice to add is a quick jump menu. It might be useful if you have a lot of entries or categories (especially on a mobile screen).

I really like the side scrolling, I did it on purpose. With a touchpad it's really neat, and that's what I use the most. I plan to make the scrolling work with a normal scrollwheel.

And it's done. Now normal scrolling scrolls vertically.
