JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Create a Two Dimensional Array

I must be missing something here.

It says to create an empty array. Yet when I do I get a parse error. When I just create a variable it says "'your variable' does not contain an array."

It also uses the key word array "literal" could that be something? I am lost here and know it must be something so simple I am missing.

script.js
var coordinates[];
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>JavaScript Objects</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Hi there! The only thing you're missing is an equals sign. There should be an = between the variable name and the []. This creates a variable named coordinates and assigns an empty array to it.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:
