I need a mentor..

Hey guys I'm new to web development. I'm very enthusiastic about the idea of being able to create websites and display my creativity. Im looking for an experienced web developer who is friendly and willing to take me under there wing, and flaunt there experience in order guide me in the right direction; considering i am really interested in making web development my future career. If you are experienced and you are willing to help me out, please message me or comment on thread, help is appreciated and always wanted! Or even if your new just looking for someone to talk to daily and just come up with ideas and give constructive criticism, leave a response! Please enthusiastic, hard-working, friendly individuals only. Someone who can help me make this journey towards being a fluent web developer! Sincerely, Reggie

Reggie;

Web development is a rather broad subject. What area of focus are you thinking of wanting to do?

ken im thinking about just being helped right now with html and css, and my plans are to move from that on to javascript :), i just think i want to have some people to just socialize with. And some people who are more experienced then me to just ask for advice and become friends with :0 im leaning towards front end at the moment, but definately want to advance onto backend. :)

Hi Reggie - I'm just getting started with front-end web development myself, and I recently discovered codenewbie.org, which you might be interested in. It's for people looking for a community to help with learning to code, and they have weekly Twitter chats and study groups, among other things. Good luck!

wow thanks for the suggestion kathryn! I will definately have to check that out :) Good Luck to you aswell!
