I am on a 13 inch screen, to me the menu look like it is too wide and the whole menu is displayed under the white menu background. But when I widened my browser I saw what you were looking for. So the margins of the menu items should be smaller, for my 13 inch screen. A top padding will move the items down. on superfish.css line 176 I added the following:

padding-top: 25px;
margin-left: -2px;
margin-right: -2px;

You are in the css file superfish.css? on line 176 I see the following: .homemenu .top-menu li {float: left; position: relative;} Do you see that too?

ok all i have for a css files are style_dark/ style.css and thats about it i dont see anything superfish.css

probably you can't access that file though your wordpress editor. You might have to access that file by downloading it via ftp, edit it and then upload it again. I am not very good at wordpress (yet ;) ), so maybe there is an other way to do this.

i have all my files in a folder and i only have 4 .css files and none of them say superfish.css i have looked every where lol.

hmm this is weird, are those files all in the same folder? can you post the path were the 4 .css file are located? it probably looks something like wp-content/themes/ideas/css/.... :)

yes they are all in one big folder im new to treehouse how can i go about doing that i apologize.
