Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Dates and Times strftime & strptime

I need help with the following question

Create a function named to_string that takes a datetime and gives back a string in the format "24 September 2012"

Here is my code

import datetime

def to_string(date_time): date_time = datetime.datetime.strptime('24-09-2012', '%d-%m%Y') return date_time

function takes a datetime and gives back a string

import datetime

def to_string(date_time):
    return date_time.strftime("%d %B %Y")

to_string(datetime.datetime.now())
