What worked for me is changing the answers to lower case and adding .toLowerCase() method to the answer variable. I believe it was the .toLowerCase() at the end of prompt that was causing the issue.

var quiz = [
 ["Who is the president?" , "trump"],
 ["What is the most popular pet?" , "dog"],
 ["What is our planet?" , "earth"]
];

var score = 0;

for (var i = 0; i < quiz.length; i++) {

  var answer = prompt(quiz[i][0]);
  answer = answer.toLowerCase();
  if (answer === quiz[i][1]) {
    score += 1;
  }
}

console.log(score);

Here is another way tho code it!

var quiz = [
 ["Who is the president?" , "trump"],
 ["What is the most popular pet?" , "dog"],
 ["What is our planet?" , "earth"]
];

var score = 0;

for (var i = 0; i < quiz.length; i++) {
  var answer = prompt(quiz[i][0]);
  if (answer.toLowerCase() === quiz[i][1]) {
    score += 1;
  }
}

alert(score);
