I really don't now how this is wrong - Plugin development for WP

I've submitted this both ways for line 10:

  1. $my_plugin_username = esc_html($_POST['my_plugin_username']);

  2. if ($hidden_field == 'Y') { $my_plugin_username = esc_html($_POST['my_plugin_username']); }

It says that I'm not passing the 'my_plugin_username' variable to the escaped HTML value.

Never mind. I got it. It turns out I had to delete part of my answer from part 1 that was in fact correct: $hidden_field = esc_html( $_POST['my_plugin_hidden_field']);

Talk about being tricky.
