I seem to have lost the ability to see the xCode intermediate results window - how do I get that back?

There must be an arrow ^ or > or < somewhere around there where the window was. Happened to me to but it's possible to get back. You could send a screenshot so that we could look together.

Do you mean the console window to where you print to the console?

If you look on the top right of Xcode, there are 6 options.

1) The first three are how to display code: single faced, split screen, or for files. The second batch of three are for the navigation menus on the sides.

Play with those buttons and that window should show up

From what I understand, you click the button that is part of the far right group in the middle that has a bar on the bottom. This will expose the console window.

If that's not the issue:

2) Make sure that below the header of Xcode, you have the file View Controller/whichever file you want, selected. You may have another file selected by accident that is blocking the file you need (if a file is the issue).

3) On the top left (below the build button) there are a set of options. Make sure the one on the far left is selected.

Much thanks for the quick reply. I think I must have had a corrupted playground. I deleted it from the project and created a new one and the intermediate window just appeared. I did try both of your suggestions with no luck.
