2,048 PointsI still need to go to previous videos to review
Hey All,
I know this is a silly question, but here it is;
I have completed the first course which was building a simple android application (fact) and i did practice and developed the app but now if I want to redevelop it from scratch I still need to follow a few videos.
It is kinda disappointing. Is it the case with every newbie or just me?

4,041 PointsHi Sher,
I feel the same way. I finished How To Make a Website course, and when I tried to build the website all by myself, I felt that I still need to go over the videos and review them. You're learning Java which is more difficult than html and CSS, so don't feel bad if you forgot some of the things you learned. The more you practice, the better you'll get :)
Good luck

13,023 PointsI am completing the same course. I find that after every video messing around with the things taught helps it stick in my head.
After learning how to build the interface I built several different interfaces that varied in complexity.
When I learned how to make the button push do things I made it do a large variety of different things.
I tried making different widgets do things such as a toggle button.
I might not remember everything I tried but it reincorced all the parts of the app and I am confident I could rebuild it from a description.
