I think I get the basic concept of how this works but whats wrong with my Sass..

I think it has something to do with the p tag.

Replace

.entry .content p {
}

With

p {

}

As we want to select all paragraphs and not just the first 2 on the page

Hope this helps :)

Hi,

In part 4, you are asked to select the anchor tags, inside the div with the class of .footer. In CSS this is written as:

div.footer a {}

Because a has already been specified we can replace it with & in our selector. & needs to go at the position where a was in the CSS selector above

p {
  a {
    color: red;
    div.footer & {
      // do something
    }
  }

Hope this helps :)

.entry .content p {
  a {
  color: red;
  div.footer & {
    color: purple;
    }
  }
  > a {
  color: blue;
  &:hover {
  opacity: 0.5;
  }
  }

}

Judging by the code you posted, this should be passing; however I am greeted with the following error.

Bummer! Within the '.footer' div, 'a' tags that are within 'p' tags should be purple.

OHHHHHH, thank you!! haha, I've never had to replace previous code in a Team Treehouse quiz before, so I guess I was over thinking to much. MUCH appreciated James!
