I wanna change a anchor text content. I dont understand what's wrong

let inputValue=document.querySelector('input').value; document.querySelector('a').text=inputValue;

let inputValue=document.querySelector('input').value;
<!DOCTYPE html>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
        <div id="content">
            <label>Link Name:</label>
            <input type="text" id="linkName">
            <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"></a>
        <script src="app.js"></script>

On this question, it was poorly worded, which confused me at first but this should work:

let inputValue = document.getElementById("linkName").value;
let anchor = document.getElementById("link"); //you had to make a variable right here
anchor.textContent = inputValue;

Hope that helps!
