I wanna change a anchor text content. I dont understand what's wrong

On this question, it was poorly worded, which confused me at first but this should work: 

let inputValue = document.getElementById("linkName").value;
let anchor  =  document.getElementById("link"); //you had to make a variable right here
anchor.textContent = inputValue;
