Courses Plus Student 9,155 Points2 questions: 1st question: should be the image file extension should it be an a .PNG file or any type of file 2nd question: do i need some additional styling so the logo exists?

6,946 Pointsfirst: add between your head tag
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="path-of-your-image.png">
second: the file can be png or jpg
third: there isn't css styles to be applied, html do it by default, just choose your image. But remember for optimaze your website to load fast just put a small picture, the standard for that is 16x16 px but for good quality something around 35px x 35px is enought.

Courses Plus Student 9,155 PointsThank you, Fabio but in the <link rel> should i put in "shortcut icon" or "icon"
This question is meant because i don't quite get it.

Courses Plus Student 7,340 PointsAs far as I understand, you want a favicon. For that, type this in your HTML:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">
where favicon.ico is an icon file that you have in your root directory. There are many online services to transform an image into an icon.
