I would appreciate any helpful input on this website issue regarding; registration and payment process

I've been asked if I would consider working on a site that requires:

  • a registration form
  • people registering should have their details transferred into an excel sheet
  • a payment for the registration shall be possible via credit card, cheque or bank transfer

I am currently doing research online to see how to do this the best way, since it is my first time trying to build a site that can handle all these various payment modes.

Is there anyone here who has some knowledge, ideas or input in regards to this they'd like to share with me. Any of your thoughts would be greatly appreciated :)

In my experience, when it comes to payment processing always use libraries or APIs.
